Nowadays if you hear about internet you think of broadband. It means it is the high speed modem which allows you to browse information over the internet very fast and rapid way, hence it is called as high speed internet. There are three different types of broadband internet such as DSL, cable and satellite.

Nowadays most of them are using cable connection. Broadband internet made entry into this world in early 2000’s, when the popularity of internet is growing very rapidly with immense numbers gave the internet surfers a great taste of high speed internet. This allowed everyone to access the web pages over the internet faster and competent speed.

When broadband was introduced it was very expensive, but as the broadband was started using by most of the people, it has became affordable by everyone and now it is available worldwide. People who use dial-up internet connection cannot understand what the advantages of broadband connection are.

If they try to use these broadband connections at public places like internet cafe or library they will come to know what they are missing without opting for high speed broadband connection. There are many advantages of broadband internet connection; it is ten times faster than the dial-up connection.

It is not connected with telephone anymore so you can browse internet and talk on phone at the same time. You don’t have to worry of getting disconnected when your phone rings when you are working on your computer, searching for some web applications.
